This position provides IT support for a vitamin manufacturing facility.  You will support business functions by maintaining the company's technology systems: computers, scan guns, IP phones, tablets, mobile phones, email system, printers, Windows Active Directory and services. This includes using the IT Service Management for receiving, prioritizing and documenting incidents, problems and change records. Incident and problem resolution may involve use of diagnostic tools, research and escalation as need, as well as require hands-on help at the customer's equipment. 

The position is Full-time.  Pay rate is $15-$17 per hour, depending on experience.


Follow all company policies and procedures.

Follow and ensure organizational compliance with financial regulatory programs, quality systems and cGMP program.

Supports the IT service management system ensuring assigned incidents, problems and changes are completed within stated service levels. 

Support and maintain network devices, server operating systems and applications including updates.

Document and implement standard desktop image for desktops and laptop systems.

Maintain secure network resources while providing access as needed (internet, email, files, folders and printers).

Assists in maintaining and auditing software licenses for all systems.

Evaluates, tests and deploys security patches as required for computers.

Document changes made to the IP phones, printers, computers, scan guns to include asset information, location and description.

Provide on-call and after-hours support on a rotational basis.

Travel between properties as required to support functional units at multiple locations.

Perform other duties as assigned or needed. 


Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; Associates Degree preferred

Three years of work experience.

Knowledge of computer networking, desktops and management.

Experience with use and support of Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Print Services, Group Policies and user/computer management.

Experience with IP Phone moves, adds and changes.

Experience supporting and using the Microsoft Office Suite (2007/2010 and 2013).

Knowledge of computer desktop/laptop hardware setup and troubleshooting.

Background in using an IT Service Management system for incident and problem management.

Documentation of desktop/laptop setup, and procedures

Must have complex math, reading, and writing and language skills

Must have basic knowledge of managing and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points

Strong level of attention to detail

Strong customer service skills

The ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms 

Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities 3Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.

Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.

Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
